Breaking the Groundhog Day Cycle
Sometimes life can feel a little bit like the movie Groundhog Day. Maybe you can relate to Bill Murry’s character Phil who begrudgingly went through life and felt like he was going nowhere. He was repeating a cycle that left him filling unfulfilled and quite mundane. As a result we can start living life haphazardly and become syndical and resentful about everything. Mindlessness and complacency can easily set in and reside in our mind and ways of being. It’s an amazing and beautiful place when self-awareness surfaces and discovering how to pave our own yellow brick road of mindfulness and redirect our thoughts, decisions, actions and lives. A new version of our self evolves and those who we have on the journey can help redirect and guide us a new direction towards a life we never could have imagined.
